Excursions in the Mayan Riviera and Mexico 

Experience Mexico’s mysticism as you rest at Viva Wyndham Azteca through our comprehensive excursion packages offered to guests who wish to venture outside their resort. Alongside the area’s friendly and expert tour guides, you will discover new places and be in awe by the richness of the Mayan culture. Go back in time and visit ancient indigenous civilizations and hear plentiful Mexican legends. Book your expedition at our Excursion desk and uncover our countries treasures. Excursions are not part of our all-inclusive vacation package, but are highly-suggested so our guests leave our destination with a better appreciation of our country with them.

From the inspiring Chichén-Itzá with its prominent pyramid and antique passageway leading towards the Sacred Well to the Mayan Ruins, you will be delighted with everything Mexico has in store for you. Among the tours you can embark upon, are:

Chichén-Itzá

Visit one of the most notable archeological sites in the world. Discover a world-renowned pyramid, take a stroll down an antique passageway leading towards the Sacred Well and delight in the unrivaled landscape of a mystical fresh water sinkholes (cenote). 

Air-conditioned luxury transportation, expert tourist guide, admission fees, buffet-style lunch accompanied by typical Mexican music and a visit to a Mayan village are included. Prices start at Kids $42.50US and Adults $85.00US

 

Coba Mayan Village

Come and explore the opulence of the Mayan land, discover Coba and climb Nohoch Muul, the tallest pyramid in all of the Yucatán. Share with the descendents of the most admired Pre-Hispanic culture and take part in the preservation efforts of its cultural and natural heritage. Submerge yourself inside the bewildering ancient fresh water sinkholes (cenotes). It’s an experience you will not soon forget.

 

Tulum – Xel-Há

Xel-Ha is a stunning natural wonder to discover, where you can snorkel in its pristine waters, full of tropical fish. Explore the caves and fresh water sinkholes (cenotes). Xel-Há is just a few minutes from the mystifying Tulum Ruins, the only fortified Mayan city situated by the ocean.
Due to its nearness to Xel-Há, it’s best to visit both places the same day. Transfers, entrance fees, visit to the Tulum Ruins, tourist guide to Xel-Há, snacks, usage of the lockers, towels and snorkel equipment are included. Prices start at Kids $35.00US and Adults $49.00US

 

Xcaret

Nature’s sacred paradise. This eco-archeological park was designed to keep you busy all day long. Swim with poise in underground rivers, float in lagoons, and observe exotic wildlife in their natural habitat, snorkel in protected coves and walk through a botanical garden. Visit a refreshing aquarium made from coral reef. At dusk you will be marveled by the show, as you visit sites only written about in fairy tales, taking a trip through Mayan traditions and their impressive folklore. Transfers, entrance fees, lunch, beverages, towels, usage of the lockers, snorkeling equipment and the show are included. Prices start at Kids $54.50.00US and Adults $109.00US
