Playa del Carmen

Overlooking the Mayan Riviera, a relatively young city, once a small village where only a family of fishermen lived. Since 1967, Playa del Carmen has been evolving until becoming a cosmopolitan harbor. This city of fishermen has become to be known as a romantic place. Its stunning beaches, soft sand and refreshing ocean breeze make this a unique place in this region. The renowned Quinta Avenida, the soul of “Playa”, can be traveled across on foot and the small, quaint and delightful shops, restaurants, live music bars, discothèques and shows in open spaces make this the preferred place to be after a day full of activities.

Chichén-Itza

Its name means “in the mouth of the Itzán well”. A Mayan town in the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico; tucked between Valladolid and Mérida. Home to Pirámide de Kukulcán, also known as “The Castle”. This remarkable place is one of the new seven wonders of the world. Across its almost thousand year history, different towns have left their mark in this city. Mayans have plastered their vision of the world in their artwork and stone monuments leaving their mark in this amazing place.

Tulum

Flanking the sea lays this fortified city with its hints of mysteries. For its intense sun and white sands the ancient Mayan tribes chose to settle over a cliff which defies the waters, a fortress city, protected on three sides by walls made of stone, and on its fourth side simply defended by the ocean. “Tulum City”, as the area adjacent to the archeological site has come to be known, is a typical portrait of the picturesque zones of the region. All along the main avenue there are traditional craftwork shops, as well as other forms of commercial activity.

Xcaret

Dare to explore the richness of Mexico visiting Xcaret eco-archeological park. Be in communion with the Mayan culture and its breathtaking wildlife, surprising architecture, and the opportunity to witness once-in-a-lifetime experiences, such as swimming with dolphins. The yielding and refreshing underground river tides take you on a path exceeding a kilometer by the depths of the land, where you will discover ancient Mayan tide pools (cenotes), magnificent caves, rock formations and marine fossils.

Akumal

This marvelous place is the spot preferred by thousands of turtles which year after year come to nest in these beaches. In Mayan language Akumal means “place of the turtles”, one of the main attractions of this charming and fascinating place. Its spectacular crystal-clear water bay converges with fresh water currents flowing from caves and nearby underground rivers. Its silky white sand beaches are protected by coastal reefs and have been a diver’s paradise all over the world for ages.

Testimonials

  • This was our first time at your resort, but not our first time in the Maya. I can only say that we are already planning on returning next January or February and there will be no question as to were we will be staying. The effort that Dyadha and Victor put into making this the best trip ever for my wife, kids, and myself was way beyond anything I have ever experienced. I am not sure if you have some form of recognition for staff who go beyond there duties, but if you do these two are most deserving of it.
